At Birmingham Orthodontics, we’re all about creating smiles that last a lifetime — for our patients and our team. We’re looking for a skilled, caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our fun, patient-focused practice.
If you’re a motivated team player with orthodontic or dental assisting experience and a passion for helping others, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
Partner with the Orthodontist during exams and treatments to ensure each patient receives top-notch care.
Prepare and maintain operatories and equipment — keeping things organized, clean, and ready to go.
Assist with orthodontic procedures such as placing/removing wires, bands, and retainers.
Take digital scans and help fabricate custom appliances and retainers.
Educate and support patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
Keep accurate treatment notes and collaborate with your teammates to deliver amazing results.
What We’re Looking For
Must have some Orthodontic Assistant experience.
Familiarity with orthodontic appliances, tools, and terminology.
Positive, patient-first attitude and strong communication skills.
A desire to learn, grow, and be part of a high-performing team.
