Job Description

Provides strategic vision, operational leadership and is responsible for ensuring progressive organizational development and effectiveness strategies to accelerate the organizational operating models. This role involves offering influential organization design solutions, evaluation of leading practices in the physical, hybrid and remote work environments, mental health/belonging, psychological safety, respect for the individual and employee experience. Provides design, consultation and strategy for the organization in these areas while also accounting for organizational growth and larger company strategy(ies), artificial intelligence, best practices and the cultural needs/wants of the company. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, strengthen and weave into our ever forward framework to be the industry's most progressive and influential work environment and ensure organizational health. Embed DPR’s most important cultural threads are embedded/integrated in the way we work.
  • Leads the strategy and develops organizational development and effectiveness solutions to align with organizational and People Practices strategy; collaborates with Operational Services Leads, People Practices Leaders, and other workgroups within DPR to ensure seamless adoption and comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Develops and implements analytics tools and dashboards to provide insights into organizational effectiveness and capabilities in concert with talent and development leader to identify trends and outcomes; uses data-driven approaches to support strategic decision-making.
  • Leverages forecasting, scenario planning and competition benchmarking data as an input on strategy creation, strategy evaluation and continuous focus on a progressive & influential talent and development experience for all employees.
  • Oversees vendor relationships, performance, and contracts related to People Practices services; ensures vendors deliver high-quality services and align with workgroup and organizational objectives.
  • Partners with the People Practices Leaders and other executives to drive strategic initiatives influencing organizational change through innovative solutions and analytics.
  • Incorporates key influences and best practices into the work and design in order to provide optimal solutions for the organization, including the adoption/use of artificial intelligence, multiple business streams, culture management and organizational growth and strategy(ies).
  • Builds and leads a high-performing team focused on the employee and candidate experience, scalable and agile talent acquisition strategy with elements to achieve diversity hiring, pay transparency compliance, and vendor management; fosters a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team; holds accountability for organizational development and effectiveness including work environment, mental health and employee experience.
  • Ensures all vendor contracts and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Communicates strategic initiatives, analytics and competition benchmarking insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, preparing reports and presentations for executive leadership.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, communication, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred in organizational development, I/O psychology, organizational effectiveness, human resource management.
  • Subject matter expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, college recruiting, and succession management.

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in human resources, finance, business planning, or a related field required. Preference for global, multifaceted P&L organizational experience, including experience in transformation and integration.
  • 5+ years of experience in managerial capacity in construction or another high growth organization.
  • 5+ years of experience vendor management, contract negotiation, or a related field required/preferred.
  • Engrained aptitude to develop, guide and mentor others.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Human resources certification preferred (e.g., Society for Human Resources Management – Senior/Certified Professional (SHRM-S/CP), Senior/Professional in Human Resources (S/PHR)).

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Salary is just one component of DPR's total compensation package. Anticipated starting pay range: $250,000 - $350,000.
