Job Details:
This position is responsible for coordinating and tracking product flow to support daily production and planning operations. This role manages documentation and system updates (SAP and Nexus), maintains load records, and communicates with production, planning, and sales teams to ensure efficient plant operations. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make independent decisions in a fast‑paced environment while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
This position pays $20.05/hr.
Job Summary:
The Order Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily business production and production planning functions to ensure smooth plant operations. This position is responsible for making independent business decisions, managing documentation, updating SAP systems, updating Nexus computer systems maintaining load records, communicating effectively with production management/Corporate planning/sales-CSRs, and providing accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong verbal & written communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, required to make independent business decisions and the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a professional demeanor in a fast-paced changing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify and manage all DDTS and carrier information in SAP Tyson Computer systems for all, same-day and next-day shipments, complete spreadsheets, and send daily reports.
Accurately complete, update, maintain, and provide production/shipping dept load sheets, activity logs, and Production records each morning and evening through email system and / or hard copies.
Create and/or delete loads in SAP Tyson Computer system as required.
Required to make independent business decisions, answer telephones, respond to emails, and effectively communicate written and verbally directly with production team/PPM/Corp sales-CSR teams, production planning & management.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to include paperwork, reports, and production information, that is readily accessible at all times.
Perform a wide range of administrative duties such as data entry, typing correspondence, generating reports, and billing which may include completing tasks in production environment.
Support with other duties as assigned.
Maintain and navigate in Tyson Computer Systems, Nexus and inventories for plant, including but not all inclusive, printing inventories, verifying and approving load orders from Nexus systems.
Check and verify inventory/manifest sheets/compared to nexus
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company policies.
Support shipping and plant operations by maintaining clear communication channels.
Provide coverage and flexibility to support variable hours (2nd or 3rd shift as needed).
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Tyson Computer systems SAP, Nexus, Microsoft office, and other office applications.
Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, queries, compute mathematical formulas.
Strong data entry accuracy and document management skills.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Professional and pleasant attitude when working with all internal departments.
Must be able to communicate through verbal and written communications all company documents, policies, and computer systems with production team/PPM/Corp sales-CSR teams, production planning & management.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work independently.

Maintain accuracy in SAP entries, Nexus Tyson Computer systems.
Communicate clearly and professionally with shipping, production planning and operations.
Keep office and documentation organized at all times.
Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and commitment to shift requirements.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk as needed throughout the shift.
Requires ability to lift and move files, paperwork, and supplies up to 25 lbs.
Must work variable hours.
