As the Oracle Health Solution Advisor QSV/Reporting, you will:
Serve as the primary consultant to all councils and stakeholders on the reporting and analytics capabilities of the Oracle Health platform
Translate complex clinical and business needs into clear, technical reporting requirements for development teams
Provide expert support and knowledge transfer on available reporting tools, the location of key data, and the interpretation of standard reports
Lead the requirements gathering and data element mapping for clinical quality, safety, and operational reports
Provide expert guidance on the underlying Cerner data model (""Bedrock"") and the use of standard code sets (e.g., SNOMED, LOINC) to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting
Identify potential risks and data ""pain points"" in clinical workflows that could negatively impact downstream reporting accuracy
Lead the development of detailed test scripts for validating report accuracy against source data and expected outcome
Act as a lead driver in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool for all reporting-related testing events
Assist in the review of training manuals and job aids related to reporting tools and the interpretation of key reports
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. A clinical background is a strong plus
Minimum of 5-7 years of combined experience in clinical informatics, data analysis, or a reporting-focused role within a healthcare setting
Oracle Health/Cerner Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium platform is required. Specific expertise in reporting tools like Discern Analytics 2 (DA2) and a strong understanding of the Cerner data model are essential
Domain Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in clinical quality measures (e.g., eCQMs), data modeling, and standard code set management (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD-10). Experience with a query language (e.g., CCL, SQL) is strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Previous Federal Health consulting experience preferred
The ability to travel is an essential function of this role and may vary based on client, enterprise or project needs, with up to 25% travel to client sites nationwide
Candidates must comply with applicable client requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates
