As the Health IT Process & Workflow Analyst, you will be a foundational member of the Health IT solutions team, specializing in the detailed analysis and optimization of clinical and operational workflows within the context of a large-scale Oracle Health Millennium EHR implementation. You will apply a true end-to-end process perspective to evaluate workflows, identify pain points, and develop solutions based on best-practice guidelines. You will work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Business Owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and end-users, to elicit and document system requirements. Success in this role demands exceptional analytical skills, a talent for visual process mapping, and the ability to translate operational needs into clear, actionable requirements for the technical teams.

As the Health IT Process & Workflow Analyst you will::

  • Engage with Business Owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and field representatives to understand and document business needs

  • Facilitate requirements elicitation activities, workshops, and interviews to gather comprehensive information on what an IT system needs to perform

  • Serve as a liaison between operational stakeholders and technical build teams to ensure a clear and shared understanding of requirements

  • Conduct thorough workflow analysis to map current-state ("as-is") and design optimized future-state ("to-be") processes for people, systems, and information

  • Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams (e.g., using Visio or similar tools), and supporting documentation to address the "how" of a process

  • Identify system issues, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement and optimization based on analysis and best-practice guidelines

  • Translate business needs into clear and concise functional requirements for system configuration and development

  • Support testing activities by providing context on workflows and business requirements to ensure test scripts are comprehensive

  • Assist in communicating process and system changes to the end-user community

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred for senior or technical leadership roles

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related role within a healthcare or IT setting

  • A foundational understanding of Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium or a similar enterprise EHR is required to provide context for workflow analysis

  • Demonstrated expertise in workflow analysis, process mapping (e.g., using BPMN, Visio), and requirements gathering. o Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and create clear documentation

  • Experience working within the DoD, Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) or Military Hospital System (MHS) a plus

  • Must be a United States Citizen

  • Candidates must comply with applicable client requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates

  • Willingness to travel to client sites 25% of the time and perform remote work as needed
