Grant Thornton’s Business Consulting consists of Enterprise Applications, Technology, Finance, Operations, Deals and People focus areas. The Enterprise Applications (EA) Practice is responsible for advisory and project implementation services related to Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology in particular, and ERP/HCM applications advisory consultancy more generally.

A look into the role
As an Oracle Solution Architect within our Enterprise Applications practice, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering Oracle ERP Finance solutions that meet client needs and drive transformation. Your responsibilities will span the full project lifecycle, including:
- Leading solution design from initial conception through to testing and design freeze.
- Documenting business requirements, system designs, and transformation goals aligned with client objectives.
- Managing teams through functional design, process mapping, prototyping, testing, and training.
- Supporting Delivery Directors and Project Managers with scope, plans, and budgets.
- Maintaining integration designs and extensions, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Driving go-to-market propositions, proposals, budgets, and work plans.
- Collaborating with Oracle SMEs and Alliance Managers on marketing and business development activities.
- Building strong relationships with client senior executives and providing leadership for account development opportunities.
- Ensuring continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and supporting agile working practices to maintain quality and efficiency across all engagements.
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as an Oracle ERP Solution Architect , the minimum criteria you’ll need are:
- A related honours degree (or equivalent).
- Oracle certification and accreditation in Finance ERP.
- Significant experience in Oracle ERP Finance Cloud design, configuration, and implementation
- Broader experience in ERP Finance systems such as Oracle E-Business Suite (
- Evidence of formal Oracle vendor training.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
- A professional architecture qualification (e.g., TOGAF).
- Experience with Enterprise Application Integration and cloud migrations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles and key metrics.
