Position Summary
This is a full-time evening shift. Provide support in the operating room, which includes assisting nurses with patient care, cleaning, prepping rooms, and other responsibilities.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate efficiency in the safe transportation of patients to and from the operating room.
Assist circulating nurse in moving and positioning patients on the OR table.
Assist with prepping patients and many times deals with blood/feces/urine/body parts. Deliver surgical and laboratory specimens to appropriate areas and transports blood products as required to and from blood bank.
Maintain the supply areas so that all products are available to OR personnel.
Demonstrate proper technique when cleaning operating rooms between each case.
Demonstrate proper handling, cleaning, and storage of equipment and supplies.
Maintains a neat and orderly environment in the main OR, supply rooms, utilities room and pre- and post-operative areas.
Assist OR staff with cleaning of instruments and equipment between surgical procedures.
Help with prepping patients and many times deal with blood/feces/urine/body parts.
What You Will Need:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
BLS through American Heart Association required (prior to hire).
Previous Operating Room, Endoscopy, Environmental or Transportation experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be a team player and communicate well with others.
