General Description: The Optical Lab Sales Representative is responsible for customer service within the optical lab by keeping the reception area tidy, ensuring orders are processed timely, ordering supplies, and managing payments.
Essential Responsibilities:

Keep the optical lab reception area tidy.
Answer the phone in a pleasant, timely manner.
Respond to emails in a timely manner.
Check all Audix messages and give messages or return calls.
Keep office supplies and forms stocked and order items when needed.
Order lenses and frames.
Ensure all orders are out of the lab in a timely manner.
Check orders in and out of the lab and ship when necessary.
Send orders to appropriate workstation to be completed.
Check glasses in with a lensometer.
Close credit card machine daily.
Take payments by phone when needed and record in software.
Collaborate with Accounting on payments daily.
Take shred to bin daily.
Take all shipping boxes to UPS daily.
General Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: No experience required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: None.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent data entry accuracy and strong attention to detail.
