Are you passionate about patient care and looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Join Emplify Health by Gundersen as an Ophthalmic Assistant and become part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional eye care services.

No vision or eye experience needed. All training for this role will be provided.

What You’ll Do

  • Support ophthalmologists and optometrists in providing high-quality patient care.
  • Perform preliminary eye exams, gather patient histories, and assist with diagnostic testing.
  • Educate patients on eye health and post-procedure care.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient.

What is Available:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime schedule—no nights, weekends, or holidays.
  • Starting Hourly rate of $17.54/hr + more for experience
  • Location: Sparta, WI

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Previous experience in eye care or healthcare is a plus—but we’ll provide training for the right candidate!
  • Highschool diploma or equivalency
