The Manufacturing Assembler will be responsible for using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble the final product. The Assembler will be expected to read and interpret work orders, parts list, and sales orders as well as position parts and examine connections for the correct fit. The Assembler will also perform repairs as needed and report errors in the assembly line.
The Job:
As an Assembler, you’ll be working as an onsite employee.
You’ll get to:
Refer and adhere to manufacturing calendar for up to date production schedule
Use hand and light duty power tools to assemble product
Check build kit for accuracy of parts
Build out order to customer specifications
Ensure machine quality according to specifications
Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Quality System
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
Complete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements
Ensure all parts are fitted and installed properly and report errors promptly
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
The Person:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Basic reading, writing, computer and arithmetic skills required
Basic computer skills and standard application program knowledge
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Willingness to perform assembly operations in multiple work stations
Willingness and ability to work overtime when required
Ability to lift/handle up to 50 lbs. daily and follow all safety and company rules
Demonstration of a positive can do attitude
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Participates as an active member of the production assembly team
