How Will You Make an Impact?:

Our team is dynamic and fast paced, relying on teamwork, multitasking, and communication within the team and the larger organization. We are seeking an upbeat individual with strong communication, technical and operational skills to join our team. This position will be responsible for supporting the team in achieving daily production schedules and product quality goals.

A Day in the Life:

  • Inspect and set up material, containers, and operate production floor equipment per validated SOPs.
  • Manufacture and/or test products following cGMP and completes all vital documentation in accordance with Quality System. Records information such as weight, time and date packaged
  • Understands and can communicate workflow and technologies used in the production environment.
  • Label and pack special arrangements or selections of product
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, machines glassware or equipment as needed
  • Drive a culture of safety and quality in all activities
  • Participate in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean and 5-S program
  • Perform other job duties as required by the department and/or Management.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment and machine operation.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excel in a team environment
  • Good verbal/written communication.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a quality product
  • Ability to multitask, perform repetitive work duties and react appropriately to changing work priorities
  • Ability to read, interpret manufacturing drawings and follow SOPs, ISO guidelines and complete accurate documentation according to cGMP requirements
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understand chemical hygiene
  • Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted
  • Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
  • Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing and pulling

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $18.30–$30.50.
