Job Description

Posición será responsable de manejar operaciones de despacho (pesaje), movimiento de materiales, limpiezas, sistemas electrónicos de inventario y pesaje en el Centro de Manejo de Materiales (MMC). Será responsable de trabajar en las operaciones de despacho siguiendo los procedimientos, reglamentaciones y buenas prácticas de manufactura (GMP), así como los requisitos de higiene, salud y seguridad.

Tareas y deberes generales:

• Seguir las instrucciones y procedimientos de manufactura, según están establecidos.
• Manejar operaciones de despacho (pesaje), movimiento de materiales, limpiezas, y sistemas electrónicos de inventario y pesaje.
• Preparar e inspeccionar equipos y documentación durante los procesos de despacho y manufactura.
• Hacer cambio de turno con los operadores del turno anterior.
• Reportar inmediatamente cualquier discrepancia en el proceso, procedimiento o especificaciones de producto o proceso.
• Realizar y/o aprobar limpiezas.
• Disponer correctamente todo desperdicio generado en el área de trabajo.
• Cumplir con el plan de adiestramientos aplicable a su área de trabajo.
• Participar en el proceso de adiestrar a otras personas.
• Ser responsable de su seguridad y la de sus compañeros cumpliendo con las expectativas de Salud y Seguridad Ocupacional y Ambiental.
• Participar en un equipo de trabajo, según sea requerido.
• Tener conocimiento en el uso y manejo de sistemas como Quality Docs, SAP y Apogee.

Basic Qualifications

• Grado Asociado en Ciencias o Administración. Grados técnicos pueden ser considerados.
• Experiencia previa en áreas de despacho y pesaje de materia prima, movimiento de materiales y sistemas de inventario o manufactura, preferible.
• Conocimiento de las buenas prácticas de manufactura (cGMP, por sus siglas en inglés).

Additional Preferences / Requirements

• Experiencia con manejo de montacargas. Licencia para manejar montacargas.
• Conocimiento y experiencia ejecutando operaciones de manufactura, incluyendo ajuste de parámetros críticos, manejo de tooling y troubleshooting.
• Experiencia y conocimiento en conceptos de Lean Manufacturing, tales como 5S.
• Habilidad de expresión escrita y de redacción en español.
• Comunicación verbal en inglés y redacción básica en inglés.
• Destrezas de colaboración y trabajo en equipo.
• Conocimientos en sistemas computadorizados.
• Uso de equipo de protección personal, incluyendo respiradores de aire.
• Disponibilidad para trabajar en una operación 24/7 en turnos rotativos, incluyendo fines de semana y feriados.
• Disponibilidad para trabajar como recurso en otras áreas, según las estrategias del negocio.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$12.98 - $29.09

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
