Summary: The position of Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the plant and providing support to other departments as required. This includes monitoring and controlling the flow of product into storage tanks, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and assisting in emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control the flow of product into storage tanks, ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including inspections, repairs, and cleaning.
• Assist in emergency situations, such as leaks or fires, by following established procedures and protocols.
• Provide support to other departments as required, such as delivering product to customer locations.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and report any incidents or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices and regulations.
• Experience with heavy machinery and equipment.
• Familiarity with computer systems and software applications.
