The Role: Operations Trainer III
Operations Trainer III role is responsible for supporting plant-wide training execution and operational readiness by delivering effective employee training and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operator skills, knowledge and performance.
What You’ll Do:
Conducts classroom orientation and operations training for operators to ensure readiness before transfer to the production floor.
Lead On-the-Job Training (OJT) and provides structured coaching to new operators, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of manufacturing processes.
Performs post-transfer skill monitoring and competency assessments for operators within the first month on the production floor, addressing gaps through targeted coaching.
Plans and delivers Quality Refresher Training and AR&R Effectiveness on specified quarters, to reinforce critical quality standards, enhance quality awareness and keep operators informed of quality concerns raised by internal and external customers.
Conducts operator certification and annual re-certification to ensure skills, process knowledge, and compliance requirements are consistently met.
Interact regularly with production floor management to provide training support, sharing inputs, making recommendations or feedback related to operations training.
Maintain and updates operator training matrices and skill records, ensuring accurate tracking of certifications, proficiency levels, and training completion.
Ensure proper administration of training documentations for in charge product areas, such as On-Job-Training record, Competency Check Sheet form, AR&R, Quality Alert briefing etc.
Perform additional duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
What We Seek:
Diploma or Degree holder and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
Flexibility and willingness to work in shift-based schedules to support production and training needs.
Proven experience in manufacturing operations training, class facilitation and On-Job-Training.
Ability to coach and educate operators to ensure safe, compliant and efficient manufacturing execution.
Experience conducting competency assessments, skill evaluation and post-transfer performance monitoring.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with operators, supervisors, engineers and managers.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Ability to manage multiple training priorities, adapt to operational needs, and support ad-hoc assignments.
Detail-oriented in executing assigned tasks.
Adaptability-oriented mindset to adjust training pace, methods and schedules based on production demands.
