Independently performs advanced to expert level installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of telecommunications and IT related equipment and software, using accepted practices and procedures.
What You'll Do:
Performs troubleshooting, system testing, take corrective actions, and produce required documentation.
Works to gain expert knowledge and understanding of various telecommunications and IT systems, related equipment, and business processes. Provide cross-training to others when required or as needed.
Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
Perform advanced to expert level installation, maintenance and repair of various telecommunications/IT related equipment and software.
Perform advanced level troubleshooting and system testing and produce required documentation.
Focus on learning and advancing present levels of competency in multiple Telecom and IT technologies.
Manage small/intermediate level field projects. Understand business unit and customer requirements.
Assist in adjusting resource demands as required.
Perform required entries into database and record keeping systems for work and asset tracking.
Must exhibit a positive, collaborative attitude working in a team environment.
Must be accountable for ones own work and advancement.
All above activities will be performed with an emphasis on safety for yourself and others.
Adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.
What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Experience: In addition to any experience required above, 7 years technical or relevant work experience is required.
