Job Description

Independently performs advanced to expert level installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of telecommunications and IT related equipment and software, using accepted practices and procedures.

What You'll Do:

  • Performs troubleshooting, system testing, take corrective actions, and produce required documentation. 

  • Works to gain expert knowledge and understanding of various telecommunications and IT systems, related equipment, and business processes. Provide cross-training to others when required or as needed.

  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. 

  • Perform advanced to expert level installation, maintenance and repair of various telecommunications/IT related equipment and software.

  •  Perform advanced level troubleshooting and system testing and produce required documentation.  

  • Focus on learning and advancing present levels of competency in multiple Telecom and IT technologies.  

  • Manage small/intermediate level field projects. Understand business unit and customer requirements.  

  • Assist in adjusting resource demands as required.  

  • Perform required entries into database and record keeping systems for work and asset tracking.

  • Must exhibit a positive, collaborative attitude working in a team environment.

  • Must be accountable for ones own work and advancement. 

  • All above activities will be performed with an emphasis on safety for yourself and others.

  • Adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Experience: In addition to any experience required above, 7 years technical or relevant work experience is required.

$34.80 - $43.50
