As our next Operations Technician – Electrician, you’ll be at the forefront of installing, maintaining, and testing industrial electrical equipment and controls. Your expertise in electrical systems and PLC programming will be crucial in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations across our manufacturing processes.
• Repair, install, maintain, and test industrial electrical equipment and electronic controls.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) for manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in the plant.
• Develop and conduct preventative maintenance programs and maintain records.
• Test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Inspect circuits and wiring for proper shielding and grounding.
• Prepare purchase orders or requisitions for electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and Johnson Electric policies.
• Electrical/Electronic trade certification.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience (automotive preferred).
• Experience with PLC systems is essential.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, metal stamping presses, grinding, and heat treatment processes.
• Independent, self-motivated troubleshooter and problem solver.
• Powder metal experience with presses, grinding, and sintering.
• Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to physical demands.
