Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Operations Support Supervisor - Saudi National to join our team! In this role, you will support and supervise day-to-day field-based operational activities for a major transportation-related program in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, helping ensure disciplined coordination, timely reporting, and effective response to traffic, roadway, and incident-related conditions. You will help bridge field operations and management oversight by coordinating personnel assignments, monitoring activities, documenting issues, and supporting safe and efficient delivery of traffic operations support services.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Participate with and support day-to-day operational staff assigned to field observations, patrol-based support, traffic condition monitoring, and incident-related coordination activities.
  • Coordinate with technical supervisors, Traffic Management Center personnel, client representatives, and relevant agencies to communicate roadway conditions, operational issues, incidents, and required follow-up actions.
  • Ensure assigned operational tasks are completed in accordance with project requirements and established procedures.
  • Develop, review and consolidate field logs, occurrence reports, site observations, and supporting documentation to ensure records are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Support traffic operations during congestion, incidents, special events, road works, and abnormal conditions by helping organize field response activities and communicating status updates to management.
  • Conduct routine field checks to verify roadway conditions, traffic control issues, temporary traffic management needs, signage concerns, and other operational matters requiring documentation or escalation.
  • Promote compliance with safety procedures, reporting protocols, professional conduct expectations, and standard operating procedures across the operations support team.
  • Assist in preparing basic summaries, shift reports, incident notes, and other operational records for internal management and client review.
  • Support onboarding and orientation of newly assigned staff, helping ensure they understand deployment expectations, field protocols, communication channels, and documentation requirements.
  • Represent Parsons professionally in day-to-day interactions with client personnel, agency representatives, contractors, and the public, as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in transportation operations, supervision, public safety support, field operations, traffic support, incident response, or a similar operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead field personnel, manage routine assignments, and maintain discipline and accountability in a structured operating environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, respond calmly to changing field conditions, and support coordinated action during incidents, congestion, and other operational events.
  • Good reporting and documentation skills, including the ability to maintain logs, prepare simple summaries, and use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in Arabic; working knowledge of English is desirable for day-to-day project communication.
  • Reliable judgment, situational awareness, and commitment to following approved procedures, safety requirements, and chain-of-command expectations.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience with government, security, military, traffic operations, transport operations, or emergency-response organizations would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with control room coordination, field inspections, incident logging, or shift-based operational support is preferred.
  • Valid driving capability and willingness to work in field-based and shift-based assignments, as required by the project.
  • Professional demeanor, teamwork, and a service-oriented approach when dealing with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
