Job Title: Operations Support Manager (Submarines)

What you will be doing:
The Operations Support (OS) role works across Supply Chain and is fully empowered with to support the DBU’s to resolve critical delivery issues within the supply chain. The role is there to turbo-charge solutions for major issues only. The role works with specific suppliers to define the support programme and provide transparency on resources and activities required to address performance issues.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Supplier Operations Support you will take responsibility for driving performance with critical suppliers.
Dedicate your time at the specific suppliers, leading the execution of the supplier support programme and integrates across organisational boundaries to deliver it.
Set clear entry and exit points, alongside scoping and contracting on accountabilities with Supplier teams.
Turn the learning from the OS approach into sustainable changes on how we manage our suppliers and develop products and processes.
lead the identification, development and implementation of these robust supplier management processes and tools to prevent future risks of supplier failure.
Setting ways of working, processes, systems and structures
Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally

Ready to meet with critical supply chain partner both domestic and international. This travel will be both pre-planned and reactive to major incidents.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines, you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
