The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

The Operations Support Analyst will assist the section in achieving its objectives, the Incumbent is responsible for performing the Holdover Reject Proof, Proof and Control Proof, WIP INV Proof, BNY Reconciliations, LQC, Rewards Bonus and Undeliverable Mail functions. These functions contain responsibilities that are highly ‘time sensitive and require meticulous record keeping. The Incumbent is expected to reconcile and resolve any discrepancies, and to provide Management with the details necessary for minimizing exposure.

Responsibilities:

Proof and Reconciliation

  • Make necessary adjustments in accordance with authenticated instructions and ensure the accounts are properly settled.
  • Reconcile the ‘in house’ Bank accounts and resolve all discrepancies in accordance with the established procedures.
  • Ensure all daily tasks and responsibilities are understood and executed within SLA.
  • Ensure proper and timely escalations following the appropriate protocol and acting consistently.
  • Ensure all related to Head Office documents are in compliance with Head Office regulations.

Funds Transfer Processing- (Book Transfers)

  • Responsible for processing transactions based on instructions from Front Office and Internal Departments.
  • Ensure that the instruction received is entered into the OVS System correctly and in a timely matter.

Investigations

  • Responsible for the opening and closure of Investigations received by MUFG branches.
  • Review and process internal and external Customer’s claims, ensuring that adjustments are made in accordance with procedures and applicable internal regulations.
  • Log each Investigation daily and the reconciliation of Federal Reserve Bank, and other bank’s discrepancies in accordance with established procedures

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $72K - $87K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
