Amentum, a large government contract company, is seeking Operations Supervisor to support the Camp East Montana contract in El Paso, TX.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Supervisor oversees swing shift operations in support of the WEXMAC contract. This role supervises staff, ensures contract requirements are met, and provides direct oversight of the Service Desk to guarantee timely and professional resolution of customer requests, incident reports, and tickets. The supervisor also manages and monitors subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with contract standards and operational requirements.
Other duties include:
Supervises staff, including training, scheduling, evaluating, and mentoring personnel.
Oversees the Service Desk, ensuring ticket resolution, incident response, and escalation are handled in line with service-level agreements.
Coordinates and prioritizes workloads to meet mission objectives and customer requirements.
Manages subcontractor activities, monitors compliance, and ensures deliverables meet contract standards.
Oversees transfers, adjustments, turn-ins, issues, receipts, and accountability of all government property assigned to the contract.
Develops, updates, and enforces Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support logistics, service desk, and subcontract operations.
Inspects work and service desk activities for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Serves as liaison with government customers, subcontractors, and company leadership to ensure operational success.
Reviews and validates customer requests, resolves discrepancies, and ensures accurate documentation across multiple databases.
Conducts routine inspections of job sites and service desk databases to ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance.
Directs personnel in decision-making, problem resolution, and discrepancy investigations.
Prepares and reviews reports, labor time sheets, subcontractor performance metrics, and other required documentation.
Ensures swing shift operations are conducted in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five (5) years as supervisor or equivalent experience required.
Requires operating application software including word-processing and spreadsheet programs.
Working knowledge of the functions and operations of military commands or government agencies.
Knowledge of business practices and procedures plus facility planning management.
Excellent Supervisory, leadership, planning, decision making and scheduling skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
Knowledge of methods, materials, practices, and equipment generally used in the operation, construction, maintenance, and repair of open and closed water supply and distribution systems preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline preferred; two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Primarily on-site within a secure facility area.
Requires walking, standing, and occasional exposure to challenging situations.
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

$95,000
