Operations Specialist

We’re looking for an Operations Analyst to join our Insurance Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to support key operational initiatives, projects, and day-to-day business activities that drive efficiency and service excellence. This role offers the opportunity to work on both business-as-usual operations and strategic initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams including IT, compliance, and global partners. You will play a key role in analyzing processes, resolving complex issues, and improving workflows across the organization. Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support strategic initiatives, projects, and BAU operations, ensuring timely execution and delivery
  • Analyze data, processes, and business requirements to identify gaps, resolve issues, and drive improvements
  • Act as a liaison between business, IT, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation
  • Manage deliverables including task tracking, reporting, audit requirements, and documentation updates
  • Handle complex operational issues, escalations, and customer concerns, ensuring resolution and service quality
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and AI-driven efficiencies

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge with JH Life – Replacements products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Strong experience with data analysis, reporting tools (e.g., Excel), and systems/process documentation
  • Solid understanding of testing procedures, case development, and expected results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile environments and drafting user stories
  • Knowledge of valuation standards (e.g., ASC 820, IFRS 13, GIPS)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
