Operations Specialist – Foreign Exchange Services (Late Shift)

This role supports the execution of end-to-end Foreign Exchange operational processes, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with client mandates, internal control frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements. The position contributes to the delivery of a robust operational environment by promoting accuracy, timeliness, risk awareness, and process discipline across FX services within BBH.

Working under appropriate supervision while partnering with senior team members and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain operational integrity, support process optimization, and uphold service excellence standards.

The position is fully remote and operates on a late shift schedule from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., supporting global market activity and time-sensitive operational requirements. Onboarding and training will be conducted in a hybrid model during standard business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute FX operational activities in full compliance with established policies, procedures, and risk and control standards.
  • Deliver daily production output in line with defined service level agreements (SLAs), quality benchmarks, and operational timelines.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple workflows while maintaining strong attention to detail and control discipline.
  • Produce and validate client reporting and transactional statements in accordance with agreed service frameworks.
  • Monitor operational processes to identify exceptions, control gaps, or processing risks, ensuring timely escalation where required.
  • Support issue investigation and resolution activities to minimize operational exposure and client impact.
  • Maintain working knowledge of FX products, operational processes, and supporting systems infrastructure.
  • Respond to internal and external stakeholder queries professionally, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely communication.
  • Escalate high-risk, time-sensitive, or high-impact items in accordance with governance and escalation protocols.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across operations, risk, technology, and client service functions.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work late shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., supporting global market activity and time-sensitive operational requirements
  • BA/BS degree, and/or equivalent work experience (0-2 years).
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Research, analysis and problem resolution skills.
  • Fluent in English (C1 Level).
  • Attention to details and good organization skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; skills in VBA will be an asset.
