About the Operations Specialist- ExxonMobil:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination and resolution of distributor and parent account order and service issues. This role supports urgent order management, service request assessment, billing and AR issue analysis, and facilitates system access for accounts. The specialist maintains accurate customer data, oversees onboarding processes, and provides comprehensive support for customer and distributor order management. By supporting price changes and managing systemic order monitoring, the specialist plays a critical role in maintaining operational reliability and customer satisfaction across distributor and customer accounts.
Location: Ogden, UT - Hybrid
What Will You Do?
Coordinate and resolve distributor-related order and service issues
Manage urgent and emergency order requests, including alternate sourcing, stock plan adjustments and tracking plant shipment status
Assess and resolve service requests, recommending actions to senior account manager
Address billing concerns, including processing corrections or credits
Analyze AR issues by working with the customer, distributor and customer service
Oversee return processes and act as liaison between plant, customer service, and distributor
Facilitate distributor system access and direct to correct support functions
Close product integrity gaps by reviewing dashboards and contacting distributors
Maintain and update customer data in Salesforce, including account set up and onboarding
Validate customer relationships and manage tax exemption correspondence
Resolve incorrect deliveries and provide price lists/quotes
Monitor systemic orders including order or invoice issues and handle system process changes
Leverage independence in your workday to prioritize tasks, projects, and initiative
What Will You Need to Succeed?
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain urgency
Strong coordination and communication skills for managing senior account manager, distributor and customer relationships
An innovative mind always willing and able to contribute creative solutions to problems as they arise with the ability to assess and resolve request
Problem-solving and analytical skills for handling urgent orders, product corrections, systemic order monitoring, and AR
Ability to learn and work with various systems that are not connected
Collaborative team player mindset that is solution oriented for working with cross- functional teams
Flexibility to adapt to changing processes and customer needs
Ownership of work load and driven to complete accurately and efficiently
Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and other sales tools

Compensation Range: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00
The hourly pay for this position is $24.04. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $5,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
