Are you a structured professional who thrives in an administrative and operational role? We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our Nordic Underwriting Operations team in Oslo for a 12-month maternity cover.
While you will be an integral part of our Operations department, your dedicated focus will be supporting our Accident & Health (A&H) product line. You will work closely with our A&H Underwriters, global support teams, and insurance brokers, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What’s in it for you?
You will join a successful Nordic Operations team of 10 colleagues spread across the region. We prioritize collaboration, precision, and helping each other succeed. Here is what you can expect:
A "Learn-it-all" Culture: We don't expect you to know everything from day one, but we expect you to be curious. You will join an environment where we share knowledge, ask questions, and invest in your continuous development.
One Nordic Team: Your base is in Oslo, but your everyday life is Nordic. We work seamlessly across borders, giving you a much broader network and a more dynamic workday than in a purely local setup.
Solid Benefits: A competitive compensation package, including an excellent occupational pension, comprehensive health insurance, and a flexible hybrid working model.
Your impact and responsibilities
Your day-to-day requires a steady hand and a keen eye for detail. Your tasks will include:
Policy Administration: Accurate data entry and invoicing of insurance policies.
Frontline Communication: Handling daily communication and inquiries via email and phone, both internally and externally.
Underwriting Support: Supporting our Underwriters with various ad-hoc tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.
Process Optimization: Analysing and proactively streamlining existing processes to improve our efficiency.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for someone who takes pride in high-quality administration and problem-solving. We believe you are a match if you:
Have experience from a support, operations, or administrative role where you are used to independently navigating different IT systems and processes.
Are fluent in Norwegian and English (written and spoken).
Are highly structured, reliable, and take ownership of your tasks.
Enjoy collaborating with a diverse team and building relationships across departments.
Meet the Team
You will be based in our Oslo office, becoming part of a highly integrated Nordic Underwriting Operations team. You will work closely with around 10 dedicated Operations colleagues across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland, who all share a strong focus on high-quality support and teamwork.
How to apply
Forget the lengthy cover letter – send us your CV and include a short summary of your motivation and fit for the role.
We will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. We welcome applications in Scandinavian or English.
