This facility will offer 1,200 local new jobs and will be the first health manufacturing facility in Querétaro (pioneers for healthcare Hub).

Main Purpose of the Role

This position is responsible, under general direction, for the ongoing coordination of the production and training teams, to deliver the business results and expectations on a day-to-day basis and execute business strategy. The role facilitates resources for strategic process improvement projects, training and technology transfers.

The role is accountable for ensuring that standard production processes are maintained the safety, quality and production volumes are met.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a mentor, role model and coach to the production supervisors to lead best practices.
  • Coordinate overall production leading indicators to ensure site goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates business processes and determines initiatives that will yield greater productivity and efficiency to enable growth.
  • Under only general direction leads tactical process improvement projects in the business unit and occasionally contribute to division level projects, delivering tactical results in conjunction with site goals and objectives
  • Lead and participate initiatives across site to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements (FDA, TUV, etc..) Responsible to report quality issues immediately and be lead their investigation and solution.
  • Acts as a cross-functional change agent to drive and sustain business process improvement for the site business unit and the  division.
  • Assigns resources in the early stages of the new product introduction projects to support to ensure the proper capacity, space, labor and equipment.
  • Development and maintenance of manufacturing systems intended to measure business unit key performance indicators (KPIs), and also general platforms such Monthly Operations Review (MOR) and Management Operating Systems (MOS).
  • Drive training strategic roadmap for the EP QRO site.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor degree in chemical sciences, industrial engineering, mechanical, electronical engineering, automation, robotics, mechatronic engineering.

Experience: 10 years or more of Experience as Manufacturing / Process Engineer in problem solving, validations, continuous improvement, statistical analysis, industry standards like ISO9000, GMP´s, FDA, Elaborate reports for management about efficiencies, yields, scrap.

Other Qualifications and Education

  • DMAIC, PDCA,8D´s (preferred)
  • Lean Manufacturing (preferred)

English Proficiency: Advanced commands of English
