Salary Range: $85447 - $158322 Per Year

Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will identify problem areas that require further investigation and analysis.
  • You will provide independent, fiscally focused analysis and recommendations on studies, policies, and capability documents.
  • You will review and evaluate proposed Navy and other service component programs for Marine-Corps related issues.
  • You will initiate, formulate, plan, execute, and apply new techniques, as well as original methods, to analyze important and unusual problems to meet study objectives.
  • You will define and conduct auxiliary research studies needed to collect all relevant data and properly analyze the assigned problem.

Qualifications: GS-11 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying Operations Research methods and approaches in data collection and analysis under close supervision. GS-12 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing standard Data and Operations Research tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, R, Python, Tableau/Power BI, etc.) under close supervision. GS-13 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Handling progressively complex Operations Research study or project that applies standard methods and techniques.
