Your mission 

Join us as a Operations Quality Assurance And MLRO Officer and help shape the future of NN. 
In this role, you’ll actively contribute to the success of both the team and the company by ensuring compliance with legislation and group standards on anti-money laundering (AML), combating terrorist financing, and international sanctions, as well as FATCA/CRS requirements. 

 

What will you do?  

  • Implement and monitor compliance frameworks for AML, combating terrorist financing, international sanctions, and FATCA/CRS, adapting NN Group standards to local operational flows.  

  • Develop and update internal policies and procedures, including manuals and compliance diagrams, and provide guidance on identified risks.  

  • Monitor transactions and alerts to identify suspicious activities, high-risk clients, and entities on international sanctions lists; conduct investigations and reporting to ONPCSB.  

  • Deliver training programs on AML and FATCA/CRS and ensure continuous awareness across the organization.  

  • Prepare and submit reports (ONPCSB, DAC1/DAC2, FATCA/CRS certifications) and collaborate with legal and compliance teams to stay aligned with legislative changes. 

 

Whatwillyoubring? 

 

  • University degree (preferably in economics, IT, or statistics). 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations within the insurance sector. 

  • Ideally previous experience in the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) area  

  • Advanced PC skills (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced English. 

  • Knowledge of AML legislation and FATCA/CRS standards. 

  • Excellent communication skills- Communicates with clarity, empathy, and impact.  

  • Attention to detail, and critical thinking. 

  • Ability to learn, investigate, and make sound decisions under compliance frameworks.  

  • Thrives in collaborative environments and lifts others up.  

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement andacts with determination

The monthly salary range for the role is between 9,180 and 11,500 RON gross. The salary range showcased is only indicative. The final benefits package will be agreed upon during final negotiations with each candidate, by considering different criteria, such as the experience and skills level. Therefore, the finally agreed salary will stay confidential, as per the applicablelaw and we reserve the right to apply adjustments to the offer at any time during the hiring process.
