Role Description
Driving Process Automation in Investment Banking Operations.
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President with knowledge of Investment Banking Operations and a track record of identifying and delivering high value automation opportunities.

Your key responsibilities
Automation Opportunity Identification & Prioritisation: Partner with Operations teams to review current state processes, identifying manual activities, inefficiencies, and control gaps. Assess and prioritise automation opportunities based on operational impact, feasibility, and alignment with transformation objectives.
Business Analysis & Requirements Definition: Translate operational needs into clear, structured business requirements, including process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure requirements are sufficiently detailed to support effective build decisions while remaining aligned to platform capabilities and strategic architecture.
Continuous Improvement & User Adoption: Capture user feedback and operational insights to drive continuous improvement of the AI case management platform. Support user adoption by contributing to operating procedures, training materials, and change communications, helping embed automation into day‑to‑day Operations.
End‑to‑End Delivery Ownership: Own delivery of automation initiatives from initial discovery through build, testing, and production release. Coordinate closely with Technology, Product, and Operations teams to manage dependencies, resolve delivery risks, and ensure outcomes are delivered to agreed scope and quality.
Testing, UAT & Release Support: Plan and support functional testing and user acceptance testing with Operations stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet business and control requirements. Support production releases, defect triage, and post‑implementation stabilisation where required.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Act as a key interface between Operations, Technology, and Transformation stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes. Build strong working relationships to support effective decision‑making and timely delivery.
Continuous Improvement & User Adoption: Capture user feedback and operational insights to drive continuous improvement of the AI case management platform. Support user adoption by contributing to operating procedures, training materials, and change communications, helping embed automation into day‑to‑day Operations.
Your skills and experience
Proven experience identifying and delivering automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve throughput, and strengthen operational outcomes within a Financial Services environment. Strong focus on translating opportunities into measurable, sustainable value.
Strong ability to analyse operational workflows, identify root causes of inefficiency, and translate user needs into clear, outcome‑focused requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that support effective build and adoption.
Solid understanding of Operations workflows, controls, and operational risk considerations, with the ability to design solutions that improve efficiency while maintaining strong governance, auditability, and control standards.
Hands‑on experience owning initiatives through discovery, build, testing, UAT, and production release, ensuring solutions deliver the intended business benefit and are fit for day‑to‑day operational use.
Experienced in working across Operations, Technology, and Change stakeholders, aligning delivery to shared objectives and driving momentum through clear communication, prioritisation, and ownership.
Experience working with case management, workflow, or AI‑enabled platforms, with a practical understanding of how to realise value within platform and architectural constraints.
Strong sense of accountability with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel, maintain delivery focus, and consistently drive outcomes in a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment.
