WHY JOIN ALO?

Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at ALO—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.

Overview

At ALO, we’re inspired by movement — of bodies, ideas, and energy. The Operations Planning Analyst plays a pivotal role in enabling that movement by translating business strategy into operational readiness across the Distribution & Logistics network.

This role sits within European Operations and reports to the Director of Operations, Europe. The Analyst directly supports the Director in driving strategic planning initiatives, ensuring demand forecasts, promotional strategies, and growth initiatives are supported by aligned capacity, labor, and fulfillment plans.

Partnering closely with Channel Planning, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, you will proactively identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and help position the network for service excellence, cost efficiency, and scalable growth.

Responsibilities

Strategic Operations Planning

  • Translate sales forecasts, promotional calendars, and product launch plans into operational capacity and fulfillment requirements.
  • Support mid- and long-range operational planning to ensure alignment between demand, storage capacity, labor, and throughput capabilities.
  • Build scenario models to evaluate trade-offs across service levels, cost, labor, and network constraints.
  • Identify operational risks and bottlenecks in advance and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Support network scalability planning as business volume and complexity grow.

Cross-Functional Planning Partnership

  • Support cross-functional planning efforts with Channel, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Regional Operations teams.
  • Participate in structured planning discussions to align stakeholders on priorities, timing, and execution readiness.
  • Prepare scenario models and capacity impact analyses to inform planning decisions.

Peak & Event Readiness

  • Support operational planning for peak seasons, major promotional events, and new product launches (e.g., Seasonal Peak Planning).
  • Assess network readiness and highlight capacity, labor, storage, or fulfillment risks.
  • Evaluate pre-event capacity plans and contingency scenarios.
  • Conduct post-event reviews to refine planning assumptions and improve future readiness.

Performance Monitoring & Planning Adjustments

  • Monitor key operational KPIs (service levels, throughput, storage utilization, labor performance) to identify emerging risks.
  • Translate performance trends into forward-looking planning adjustments.
  • Partner with Reporting & Analytics to ensure planning metrics are clearly defined and actionable.
  • Use post-performance analysis to continuously refine forecasting assumptions and capacity models.

Continuous Improvement & Scalability

  • Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and support operational scalability.
  • Contribute to automation and tool enhancements that improve visibility and planning effectiveness.
  • Support development of standardized planning frameworks that can scale with network growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, or Analytics roles.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting operational capacity planning, forecasting, or network decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Experience supporting retail, eCommerce, or wholesale environments preferred.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred.
