The Transaction Processing and Shared Services team is hiring an Operations Manager at the Enterprise Park location. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating day-to-day operational activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and compliance in a fast-paced, production-focused environment. This role leads a diverse team of frontline and professional staff and serves as a key point of contact for operational questions, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Manager partners closely with site leadership to drive engagement, accountability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining strict adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Schedule and Location: 5 days a week on site at the Enterprise Park location (10035 E 40th Ave, Denver, CO 80238)
Key Responsibilities:
Directly and through subordinate leaders, manage daily operational activities for assigned functional area(s), ensuring consistent execution of processes, procedures, and service standards in a high-volume, high-accountability environment.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of employees, including both full-time and part-time staff across multiple job grades, by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Serve as a visible, hands-on leader who can flex between desk-based work and frontline operational support as business demands require, modeling expected behaviors and performance standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for operational questions, issue escalation, and decision-making within the assigned area, ensuring timely and effective resolution of concerns related to attendance, errors, performance, or process adherence.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations, particularly in environments involving sensitive materials, financial transactions, and strict procedural controls.
Partner with site leadership and peers to review, recommend, and implement improvements to operational systems, workflows, and procedures, including supporting system changes or conversions from an operations perspective.
Lead team huddles, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching conversations to reinforce expectations, communicate priorities, and support employee development, including onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing staff.
Promote a positive, transparent, and inclusive work environment by acting as a “cheerleader” for the team, actively engaging employees, recognizing achievements, and supporting engagement initiatives such as committee participation.
Demonstrate flexibility by covering for peer managers during planned time off and adjusting schedules as needed to support production demands and business continuity
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically three or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Thorough knowledge of operational functions, systems, equipment, and procedures within regulated or high-risk environments, including the ability to quickly learn and support technical systems used by the team.
Experience managing teams responsible for handling sensitive, high-value, or high-volume work where accuracy, security, and adherence to procedures are critical.
Solid understanding of applicable federal and state laws and regulations impacting operations, financial services, or related industries.
Strong people leadership skills, including the ability to conduct challenging conversations related to performance, attendance, errors, and policy adherence in a respectful and constructive manner.
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, transparency, and approachability, fostering trust and engagement across diverse teams.
Well-developed organizational, project management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and shifting production schedules.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with comfort communicating across levels and providing frequent, real-time updates to leadership.
Strong customer focus with the ability to balance internal operational needs and external customer expectations to drive overall satisfaction.
High degree of initiative and problem-solving capability, with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and leading solutions.
Comfort operating in a flexible schedule environment where hours and workload may vary based on production needs

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,905.00 - $89,300.00
