As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing all operational activities within the Transportation & Logistics Business Unit in Matehuala. Your role will focus on ensuring operational excellence across multiple production areas while driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
This position requires strong cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to coordinate multiple departments to maximize efficiency and business performance.
Lead the full operational performance of Breakers, Panels, Transportation Switches, Automotive Switches, Commercial Switches, Sub-Assembly areas, Paint Room, and TKA Print areas.
Coordinate cross-functional departments including Production, Quality, Engineering, Production Control, Inventory Control, Maintenance, and Tooling to optimize resources and improve productivity.
Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (earned hours) targets.
Plan, coordinate, and control operational processes, ensuring efficient management of human capital, materials, machinery, and equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO 14001 and IATF-16949 standards.
Develop and promote talent within the organization, building succession for higher-level roles.
Authorize operational improvements, facility modifications, and purchase of equipment and safety resources necessary for efficient operations.
Lead through superintendents (VSM), supervisors, and administrative staff to ensure operational alignment and execution.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or Accounting.
2–3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, resource management, budgeting, and cost control (Manager-level experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of production processes and operational administration.
Experience working under ISO 14001 and IATF-16949 standards.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop talent and build high-performing teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive results through collaboration.
Strategic mindset with focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
