Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of designated plant production departments at our Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility. You will share operational leadership responsibilities with another Operations Manager at a large, complex plant, producing several products such as Slim Jim and Duke’s meat snacks. You will implement standard work and sustain continuous improvement through disciplined execution, sustaining behaviors, and autonomous maintenance. You will plan, organize, and coordinate production activities while overseeing multiple shift managers to ensure safe, efficient operations that deliver quality products. You will partner closely with Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, and Quality to ensure production goals are consistently met in a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing environment.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Execute the plant-specific vision and mission to drive continuous improvement and alignment with corporate objectives.
Direct and oversee all production supervisors, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and daily execution across multiple shifts.
Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity outcomes.
Communicate performance results and action plans to employees and leaders.
Serve as acting Plant Manager when needed.
Collaborate with production planning and materials management to optimize schedule attainment and customer service.
Partner with Human Resources to address and resolve employee issues and concerns.
Collaborate with Finance to develop and execute the capital budget, ensuring financial allocations and obligations are established and met.
Initiate cost savings initiatives related to staffing, standards, and yield improvement.
Ensure all plant operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
Ensure quality, food safety, and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met or exceeded.
Report food safety issues to appropriate supervision.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Product Operations, or equivalent field of study
Experience plus Education in lieu of educational only requirements
5+ years of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing experience. Food industry experience preferred.
3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong computer application skills
Basic mathematical and statistical skills
Basic financial skills and understanding
This is an onsite role at our manufacturing site.

Compensation
Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
