This is a 10-Week Project-Based Internship, where you’ll gain hands-on experience, work cross-functionally within local departments, branches, and other JAS offices around the globe. As an operations intern you will assimilate how international shipments and supporting data are planned, executed, managed, and monitored on various management levels.What to Expect

Project Scope - Client Rate Validation & Billing Accuracy Optimization
This project focuses on improving billing accuracy and client rate management by validating customer rates and updating them within the operating system to reduce disputes and support timely invoicing. The intern will assist in developing standardized templates that capture client-specific requirements and can be adjusted for upload into JAS ERP system - CargoWise through autorating. After completing the core rate‑validation project, the intern will contribute to two supporting initiatives: analyzing discrepancies between system‑generated chargeable weight and quoted weight to reduce revenue leakage, and reviewing existing leads in JAS CRM system (WinTouch) to build client profiles, assess lead quality, and conduct light outreach to support the transition into a new CRM environment. This role provides a blend of analytical, operational, and commercial experience across multiple functional teams.

In accordance with New York's pay transparency laws, the hourly compensation for this position is $18 - 22/HR. This range reflects the base wage, which may vary based upon, but not limited to factors such as education, experience, skills, proficiency, job performance, shift and location.
