Operations Finance Business Partner - North America

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As North American Operations Finance Business Partner at MKS, you will partner with VSD Global Operations leaders and the Business Unit Finance team to help drive the planning and forward-looking analysis of the division's gross margin performance. In this role, you will report to the Finance Director, VSD Global Operations.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Drive the analytical process for impactful business decisions based on key performance indicators
  • Lead quarterly/monthly business review (MBR/QBR) financial analysis and commentary
  • Drive continuous improvement and consistency in factory financial planning and analysis activities across the North America footprint
  • Partner with Operations site leaders on cost savings and profitability improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to deep dives and complex analysis to understand variances to budget, prior quarters, and prior years (bridges)
  • Provide business intelligence on factory performance, opportunities, and challenges
  • Support MKS Global Ops Finance and VSD BU Finance teams to bridge and understand operating results in the North American factories
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel to other VSD locations may be required


Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA/CMA a plus
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a finance role providing financial analysis to drive key business decisions, ideally in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Systems experience, including, but not limited to: SAP/Oracle, Hyperion, HFM, Excel. Data visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI or Tableau) a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with a global and remote team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret and summarize financial results in a clear, concise, accurate manner
  • Required Experience or Technical Skill 4


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as or working with cost accounting teams
  • Previous experience implementing process improvements while influencing without having authority
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Pay Range: $100,414.00 - $186,482.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. 

  • Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].

This position is Hybrid and must be within commutable distance to our location in Andover MA or Broomfield CO. This is a formal eligibility requirement for the role. Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
