[What the role is]

The Operations Executive supports the administration and operations of PAssion Wave outlets, co-ordinating adventure, water sports and camp programmes while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The role involves supervising staff, managing facility maintenance and finances, and engaging members in People's Association initiatives. The ability to perform safety operations, including powerboat handling and search and rescue, is essential.

[What you will be working on]

The Operations Executive assists Managers in the administration and operations of PAssion Wave outlets, implementing outlet strategies aligned with senior management's direction and the People's Association's objectives. They plan and co-ordinate courses, activities and services, oversee maintenance of outlet facilities, and manage budgeting, accounting and cash management to uphold the People's Association's integrity.

The Operations Executive supervises Operations Assistants, works closely with volunteers and trainers to deliver adventure, water sports and camp programmes, and monitors trainer performance on safety and quality. They recommend potential trainers for official appointments and maintain a network with local organisations to stay current with industry developments.

Additionally, the Operations Executive mobilises members to participate in People's Association projects and national campaigns. They assist in emergency evacuation during crises and carry out safety operations including launching and driving powerboats for search and rescue, ensuring all activities are conducted safely.

[What we are looking for]

At least one year of working experience in adventure, water sports, or an outdoor environment is required, along with the ability to swim at least 50 metres unaided. Possession of a Powered Pleasure Craft Driving License, Lifesaving 1, 2 and 3 certifications, and knowledge in Risk Assessment and Management would be advantageous. Three or more years of experience in a relevant field is preferred, and good presentation skills along with prior customer service experience would further strengthen an application.
