This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.
When you start with us in our Import team, you spend the first 3 weeks at our academy, where you will be taught everything about the processes. Then you are assigned a buddy as a go-to person. It typically takes a minimum of 5-6 months before you are fully self-sufficient. In addition, you will continuously participate in training and development of your skills.
Responsibilities:
Closely manages and monitors shipment specific requirements including temperature control
Complies with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which contain specific instructions concerning the reception and shipment of materials
External communication with airlines, handling agents, customs, brokerage team, disposition, veterinarians, suppliers
Communicates with national and international World Courier stations / agents
Works securely with all pertinent regulations (ADR / DGR / IATA) as well as the relevant laws and ordinance

Requirements:
Experience of pharmaceutical or other time critical or temperature sensitive shipments
Preferable experience working in a Freight Forwarding Industry
Good awareness of customs procedures
Ability to follow procedures and instructions
An effective team player with ability to remain calm under pressure
Self-motivator with a flexible and positive attitude to work, strong initiative and the ability to priorities own workload
Effective communication skills in fluent German and preferably good English
A strong customer and service delivery focus
Solid knowledge of standard Microsoft products as well as sound IT skills - we work in several different systems at the same time
Flexibility in working shifts, including some weekends and holidays
