What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and embed operational excellence frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to drive measurable improvements in Q2C performance.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across quoting, ordering, invoicing, and entitlement workflows using data-driven insights.
  • Own Level 0 metric improvement initiatives, ensuring consistent tracking, reporting, and governance through Control Tower mechanisms.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring teams and embedding best practices across global operations.
  • Standardize and scale successful practices across GEOs and Business Units to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Coordination

  • Serve as a trusted partner to leadership, aligning operational initiatives with strategic priorities and business outcomes.
  • Facilitate executive-level communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and timely updates across stakeholder groups.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across Global and GEO CSLV, CX&O E2E P&C, Operational Towers, and HPE Business Units.
  • Ensure seamless execution of initiatives, proactively resolving interdependencies and surfacing risks early.

Chief of Staff Responsibilities

Strategic Execution

  • Coordinate and prioritize leadership initiatives, ensuring alignment with quarterly and annual business objectives.
  • Participate in executive meetings, capture actionable insights, and ensure timely follow-through on commitments.
  • Track progress of strategic programs, using KPIs and dashboards to inform decision-making and course correction.

Communication & Relationship Management

  • Craft high-impact communications in partnership with the Management of Change (MOC) team, tailored for internal and external audiences.
  • Cultivate strong relationships across the enterprise, acting as a connector between the VP, senior leaders, and extended teams.
  • Bridge strategic intent and operational execution, ensuring alignment and transparency across all levels.

Operational Support

  • Prepare and manage agendas for weekly staff meetings, leadership visits, and strategic connects.
  • Represent the VP in monthly forums such as GWS, Transport, and ERG meetings, driving site-level alignment and action.
  • Lead Workforce Centricity initiatives, ensuring employee experience and engagement are embedded in operational priorities.

Finance & Resource Management

  • Assess and manage budgets for strategic activities, employee engagement, and site-level initiatives.
  • Serve as the authorized approver for BU-level payments, ensuring compliance and fiscal responsibility.

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, business transformation, or process improvement roles.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Quote to Cash Operations and/or Services business.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities.
  • Drive Level 0 Metrics Improvement: The Manager will lead targeted actions to improve core operational KPIs, ensuring measurable impact on service attach rates, renewal velocity, and quoting accuracy.
  • Strengthen Control Tower Governance: By partnering with Operations leadership, the role will institutionalize governance mechanisms that enhance visibility, accountability, and responsiveness across Q2C workflows.
  • Enable Cross-Functional Transformation: The role will collaborate with Global P&C, Sales, Partner, Delivery, and Business Units to address systemic process and system challenges that hinder operational excellence.
  • Exposure to digital transformation, automation, and AI-driven process optimization.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with data analytics, business intelligence tools, and process mining technologies.
