Operations Effectiveness Coordinator

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking an Operations Effectiveness Coordinator to join our industry leading sales team within our Manufacturing division.  This role will play a key role in supporting the field, sales, and managed operations teams in a timely, accurate and professional manner.  This position will expeditiously and effectively help resolve the issues and concerns of large, multi-unit customers, will offering insight into improvements and optimization of existing processes. You will make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling of own work and meetings/appointments, etc., for others.

What You Will Do: 

  • Support Field Sales and Operations associates, District Managers, and Senior Leadership Team; Establish effective working relationships with a variety of Ecolab Employees and partner with them on best practices to identify and solve problems

  • Reduce/Resolve Blocked billing issues 

  • Reach to reps to address issues

  • Assist in invoicing on expired BAs with unbilled lines

  • Work with Sales to contact customers regarding TEC (tax exempt certificates) requirements and updates 

  • Follow up on set to expire TECs

  •  Review Accounts receivable with TECs 

  • Fleet Management – MO and Rep

  • Manufacturing Representative on CrossFleet

  • Review Inventory report and follow up on idle vehicle

  • Review long term vehicle rentals and work with Sales to reduce the need for vehicle rentals New/update requests

  • Registration issues, gas cards, rental requests, etc.

  •  Manage the Awards Data Compilation Process

  •  Manage the following reports

  • Sales Awarded and opportunities tracking file

  • CAM and Field Scorecard/Tracking file

  • Managed Operations/Sales – Revenue Recognition tracking

  •  Assist with training Field and Operations staff on the various computer software systems and processes 

  • Participate in various projects as assigned

  • Play a key role in special exercises such as quarterly order pulls

  • Assist associates with research into customer issues (work order analysis, billing/DSO analysis, reporting, distribution and service)

  • New hire onboarding and access requests including ordering of equipment, uniforms, and access requests

Position Details:   

  • Position will be based in Naperville, IL

  • Work Week and Shift: Monday- Friday

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent

  • Minimum three years of sales support experience

  •  Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook) 

  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role  

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen  

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree completed or in process

  • One year of experience in a sales organization   

  •  Customer service experience where you have directly interfaced with customers

  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Ability to work with various systems simultaneously

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $65,800.00 - $98,700.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
