Job title: Operations & Compliance Planner (12 Month FTC)
Your new role
As an Operations & Compliance Planner, you’ll ensure resources are used efficiently, so campaigns are delivered safely, accurately and on time. This 12‑month temporary role focuses on Small Format, Tube Card Panels (TCPs), and Maintenance activity only.
You’ll create delivery, posting and maintenance plans for our operational teams and contractor partners, making sure everyone has the right skills, compliance and access to work safely across the TfL estate.
You’ll analyse performance data to drive efficiency, support contractor resource management, and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
You’ll also support fault triage and resolution to help us meet our KPIs and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Planning & Delivery (50%): (Focused on SF, TCPs & Maintenance)
Plan, prioritise and allocate internal and external resources to ensure all Small Format, Tube Card Panel and Maintenance tasks are delivered safely, accurately and on time.
Produce clear operational schedules, coordinate depot and station access requirements, and oversee day‑to‑day operational performance.
Fault Triage & Performance Management (20%): Assess and prioritise reported faults, managing reactive maintenance and ensuring resolution within KPIs and SLAs.
Partner & Stakeholder Engagement (20%): Build strong working relationships with internal teams and contractor partners. Oversee shift planning, attendance and time‑off requests.
Compliance, Training & Competency Management (10%): Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure all staff and contractors hold the correct certifications for their work and environment.
