Details of the Division and Team:

The role is responsible to handle reconciliation process such as reconciling of securities, internal cash and nostro accounts. 

This role also required for account maintenance process such as accounts opening, updation and closure for local and global clients’ accounts. Account maintenance process also includes opening of accounts in the central depository system.

Additionally, the role will be involved in the preparation and submission of regulatory reporting. The role is also required to prepare and submit various regional reporting. 

The current Team is streamlined and successful, however due to staff resignation, we are struggling to keep up with the daily work demand. We are seeking to hire a dynamic, motivated individual who will be responsible to support the Team processes.

Your key responsibilities:

The candidate is required to supports the process in Custody Operations such as:  

  • Ensure reconciliation of securities, internal cash and nostro accounts process are carried out on daily basis and any outstanding breaks are to be escalated and monitored closely until it is resolved.
  • Facilitate and manages clients request on the account opening for Securities Accounts which includes CDS accounts, Rentas accounts, and foreign markets accounts (via agent under LGC model) as well as Cash Accounts (request send to CLM Team). Follow closely with the team involved until completion of the accounts opening process.
  • Required to prepare regulatory reporting such as ITIS Reporting to Bank Negara on daily basis and periodic Bursa Malaysia report. Staff are required to understand fully the requirement of the regulatory reporting. To prepare regional reporting as well as any new request as required.

  • Minimum two years of working experience with knowledge of reconciliation and account opening process.
  • A meticulous and committed person
