Job Summary: Performs a variety of duties in support of the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Food and Beverage program. This role involves administrative support, inventory and cost controls, and recordkeeping. The position supports multiple MWR functional areas and assists higher-level staff with the efficient execution of MWR operations.

Major Duties:

  • Provides customer service and operational support to MWR Food and Beverage programs and facilities. Assists with daily administrative and operational tasks to support assigned MWR functional areas, ensuring activities are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures, and program standards. Collects fees and processes sales transactions for programs, services, and events using Point of Sale (POS) systems and computerized registration platforms. Accountable for the accuracy of daily sales transactions and assists with completion of required daily activity reports, cash control documentation, and reconciliation procedures. Performs routine data entry into automated systems to track patron usage, sales activity, inventories, schedules, and other operational metrics. Assists with maintaining records related to inventories, supplies, equipment, and conducts periodic inventory counts and reports discrepancies to supervisor. Supports inventory control by assisting with ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking supplies, equipment, and materials needed for MWR operations. Assists with preparation and processing of administrative documentation such as purchase requests, invoices, inventory records, schedules, correspondence, and reports. Provides operational support for special events, programs, and activities, including setup, breakdown, logistical coordination, and on-site assistance as required. Assists with scheduling coordination by maintaining calendars, tracking staffing coverage needs, and relaying information to appropriate personnel. Monitors facilities and equipment for cleanliness, safety, and serviceability; reports maintenance or safety concerns and initiates service requests in accordance with established procedures. Utilizes a variety of office and operational software applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling, timekeeping, and inventory systems) to support daily operations. Assists with the dissemination of program information, schedules, and promotional materials through electronic, printed, and in-person communication. Maintains professional interaction with patrons, staff, vendors, and installation partners to support smooth daily operations. Actively supports MWR customer service standards, safety practices, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles. Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and oral and written instructions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is primarily sedentary, however, some walking, standing, bending and carrying of light to medium-weight items is required.
