The Operations and Campus Visit Coordinator brings energy and organization to every part of the admissions journey, keeping processes smooth and student experiences warm and welcoming. The coordinator manages key systems, records, and communications with a friendly, detail‑savvy touch. They plan and host tours, panels, and events that feel polished and inviting, while juggling calendars and student ambassador schedules. They also support application review and meet one‑on‑one with prospective students to guide them through each step with clarity and encouragement. With a creative spark, the coordinator leads social media efforts that boost visibility and excitement around admissions. They round it all out by maintaining reliable systems, building campus and advisor relationships, and contributing fresh ideas to strengthen recruitment efforts.
What You Need to Know
Salary: $50,000 - $56,000/annually (Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.)

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Knowledge of functions of higher education.
Knowledge of recruitment and marketing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
Ability to collect, write, and report various types of data sets.
Essential Duties/Tasks
Admissions Processing and Operations
Coordinates and assists with the admissions process for both JD and Graduate student programs.
Manages the LSAC Unite system for the admissions department and identifies opportunities to better utilize the system for departmental effectiveness.
Utilizes additional systems and software to ensure efficient operations and support recruitment of a prospective student.
Maintains student records consistent with university policy and applicable privacy regulations.
Ensures timely and professional communication with students via phone and email.
Works closely with student ambassadors and student workers to support prospective, admitted, and current students.
Event Management (Individual and Group)
Coordinates and manages individual prospects and admitted student tours.
Plans and executes group tours, panels, and on-campus or virtual events.
Maintains Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar with accurate tour dates, times, and assignments.
Coordinates scheduling and assignments for student ambassadors and student workers supporting events.
Ensures a high-quality, organized, and welcoming experience for all event participants.
File Evaluation and Advising
Assists with application file evaluations to support the department to make timely admissions decisions.
Meets one-on-one (in-person and virtually) with prospective applicants to guide them through application, waitlist, and admissions processes.
Social Media Management
Manages and develops admissions-related social media content across platforms.
Promotes recruitment events, application cycles, and key deadlines through digital channels.
Engages prospective and admitted students to enhance visibility and communication of the admissions office.
Coordinates messaging to ensure alignment with institutional branding and recruitment goals.
Communication, Student Support, and Recruitment/Outreach
Maintains an up-to-date admissions system to provide accurate application status visibility.
Assists with registration by evaluating required admissions documents.
Maintains an efficient filing system as a reliable source of information for students and staff.
Counsels current and prospective students on admissions procedures, timelines, program offerings, and career objectives.
Connect students with appropriate campus resources and services.
Participates in recruiting efforts at various educational institutions.
Develops relationships with advisors to encourage prospective student inquiries and applications.
Contributes to recruiting reports and suggests improvements to outreach strategies.
