The Operations Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient processes within the PathologyWatch DOT. system. This position requires exceptional organizational and operational skills to support billing data entry for critical laboratory partners, facilitate data mapping and software improvements, assist with onboarding and user assistance for Operations support staff. This role will also  help coordinate with other Operational Teams, such as Finance, Logistics, and Client Support. The Operations Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining a database of Dermatopathologist information, such as current licensing and contracting in the LIS to support Auto Assignment and other automated workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dermatopathologist Data Management

  • Perform accurate and timely billing data entry to support key partnerships.

  • Assist with data mapping to ensure proper coding and alignment with billing systems.

  • Support the onboarding and training of billing support staff, providing necessary documentation and guidance.

  • Maintain and update the LIS database of licenses and credentialing for pathologist users.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Coordinate with other Operations teams as needed.

  • Serve as a liaison between the pathologist and operations teams to streamline workflow
    efficiencies.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve billing-related issues in coordination with LIS administrators.

Operational Support

  • Monitor and maintain LIS billing and auto assignment workflows, identifying areas for
    improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.

  • Support various projects and assist with additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Exceptional organizational and operational skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Experience in billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare administration.

  • Proficiency in data entry and database management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with LIS systems, healthcare billing platforms, or medical coding.

  • Knowledge of credentialing and licensing processes in a healthcare setting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
