ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Analyst to own the complete hardware lifecycle for our Operations Technology (OT) systems across the Anduril Connected Factory. This pivotal role encompasses end-to-end responsibility, from meticulous BOM creation and validation, hardware and software pricing, procurement execution, and strategic logistics planning, to ongoing operational support for all factory systems. You will work closely with operational leaders to ensure efficient deployment, forecasting, and management of OT infrastructure across all campus locations, demonstrating a willingness to tackle tasks at all levels of detail and complexity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Hardware Lifecycle Ownership:
    • Own the complete hardware lifecycle for all factory systems from initial requirements through deployment and ongoing operations.
    • Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to build, validate, and manage comprehensive BOMs for the entire factory, resolve component specifications, and ensure accuracy.
    • Source and secure pricing for all hardware and software components, negotiating favorable terms with vendors.
    • Own the end-to-end procurement and logistics process for all factory systems.
  • Multi-Campus Logistics & Coordination:
    • Develop and execute strategic logistics plans, including demand forecasting for hardware needs and optimizing supply chain flows across up to 20 campus locations.
    • Maintain robust tracking systems for OT hardware with real-time visibility into inventory and movement.
    • Create automated workflows to streamline parts requisition, approval, transfer, and receipt processes across all locations.
    • Implement processes to optimize inter-campus transfers and ensure parts availability.
  • Build Timeline & Deployment Management:
    • Work with operational leadership to align logistics timelines with project build schedules and deployment deadlines.
    • Participate in daily stand-ups for clear-to-deploy initiatives, providing updates on parts availability, status, and blockers.
    • Coordinate clear-to-deploy milestones with Engineering, Operations, and IT teams.
  • Cost Management & Vendor Relations:
    • Partner with spend management teams to analyze purchasing patterns, forecast future needs, and implement cost reduction strategies.
    • Manage relationships with OT vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and service compliance.
    • Track and report on budget performance and cost savings initiatives.
  • Inventory & Process Optimization:
    • Implement inventory management practices to minimize costs, reduce obsolescence, and ensure availability.
    • Lead cycle counts and discrepancy reporting to maintain inventory accuracy.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine logistics processes for efficiency and scalability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Eligibility & Location:

    • U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance is required.
    • Must be local to the Costa Mesa, CA region or willing to relocate.

Experience:

    • 5-8+ years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management within a fast-paced manufacturing or defense environment.
    • Demonstrated expertise in managing complete hardware lifecycles, with a strong emphasis on building, validating, and optimizing BOMs, sourcing pricing, and coordinating deployments across multiple locations.
    • Proven experience in developing and executing strategic logistics plans, including demand forecasting and supply chain optimization.
    • Strong coordination skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and project timelines similar to a Technical Program Manager.

Skills:

    • Experience with contract negotiation, sourcing, pricing analysis, and project management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional ability to build and maintain complex BOMs, including resolving technical specifications and compatibility requirements.
    • Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems and asset management tools.
    • Experience creating automated workflows for logistics and inventory management.
    • Expert coordination skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and align stakeholders across different locations.
    • Preference for candidates with a business acumen who can contribute to strategic forecasting and logistics planning.
    • Willingness to engage in both strategic planning and hands-on, tactical execution, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and ability to perform all necessary tasks to achieve objectives.

Leadership & Communication:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with operational leaders and cross-functional teams.
    • Proactive approach to identifying cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful deployment.
    • Experience participating in daily stand-ups and agile workflows.
    • Ownership mindset with ability to take full accountability for hardware lifecycle and factory systems logistics.

Certifications:

    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, PMP) are a plus.

 

US Salary Range
$86,000$114,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
