About the Position
The Operational Technology (OT) Specialist will be responsible for providing technical and cybersecurity services for Ameren Missouri’s Generation fleet. This position will provide operational support of the hardware and software infrastructure that governs the operation and control of Ameren’s Energy Centers.
Key Responsibilities
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Network Technology, Management Information Systems, or computer related degree from an accredited college or university, OR 60 credit hours toward completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or computer related degree from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, one or more years of experience required in any of the following areas; Windows; Windows Server; Cybersecurity; LAN/WAN network development or monitoring, virtualization technologies.
Operational Technology Specialist II Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent computer related degree from an accredited college or university and two or more years of directly relevant experience is required. In lieu of degree, a total of four or more years of directly relevant experience may be considered. Directly relevant experience includes LAN/WAN network development or monitoring, Windows and Windows Server, Cybersecurity, virtualization technologies, IT/digital generation facility support, Software/hardware Asset Management, etc.
Operational Technology Specialist III Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent computer related degree from an accredited college or university and five or more years of directly relevant experience is required. Directly relevant experience includes LAN/WAN network development or monitoring, Windows and Windows Server, Cybersecurity, virtualization technologies, IT/digital generation facility support, etc.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate:
Must possess an excellent customer service attitude, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
Compensation Range:
$60,600.00 - $162,900.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant’s credentials.
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
