We’re looking for an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our CBW business on a 5‑month fixed‑term contract, where you’ll operate squarely within Line 1 — embedded, hands‑on, and close to the action.
This role is ideal for a confident operational risk professional who enjoys being part of the business, taking ownership of risks, and working alongside leaders to strengthen controls, resolve issues, and lift risk maturity in a pragmatic and commercially minded way.

A core part of the role involves overseeing control testing, monitoring key risk indicators, and ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of critical controls.
As the business delivers change and transformation initiatives, you’ll provide practical assurance and control design guidance, helping teams balance delivery with sound risk management.
You’ll also advise on business continuity planning and regulatory compliance obligations, working collaboratively across the business and with the wider risk community. Throughout the contract, you’ll contribute to ad‑hoc initiatives and continuous improvement activity, bringing a proactive mindset and a strong focus on strengthening Line 1 risk ownership and capability.
