A seasoned professional with 12–15 years of experience in Risk Management, Governance and Operational Excellence. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. The ORCG/E team is pivotal in advancing strategic objectives and strengthening our operating model. As AVP, you will drive operational risk management, governance, and business transformation initiatives, delivering accurate, predictive reporting to support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver on strategic priorities impacting operational risk profile, expenses, organizational design, productivity, and global footprint.
  • Oversee and execute transformation projects across Operational Excellence, Risk & Controls, and Employee Engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and provide insightful executive reporting.
  • Execute activities related to aspects of Risk Eco System including but not limited to incidents management, control gaps, risk assessments etc. and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Drive requirements in line with organizational policies and procedures, execute regulatory requirements adherence for business units
  • Collaborate with business units to reduce operational risks and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
  • Lead incident governance and analysis for Alpha Operations & Investment Analytics, including root cause analysis and remediation monitoring.
  • Guide business units on incident closure and support incident management reporting.
  • Coordinate with interconnected risk initiatives and support control assurance testing and reporting.
  • Promote a strong risk culture across regional teams and business functions.
  • The AVP is expected to be hands-on, directly involved in team management and delivery of business requirements
  • Success in this role requires balancing responsibilities as both an individual contributor and a team leader, driving outcomes through active engagement and execution.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 12–15 years of relevant experience in risk management, governance, or operational excellence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, sustainable outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of financial industry operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Risk Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), MS Copilot, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) – experience in delivering projects using these skills is preferred
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with global business areas, especially Custody operations, is advantageous.
