Operational Quality Officer
 

You will help ensure high-quality manufacturing and compliance on the shop floor. You will work closely with production, quality and engineering colleagues. We value attention to detail, clear communication and a practical mindset. You will grow through hands-on experience, coaching others and supporting investigations. This role gives you the chance to make a real impact on patient safety while building your quality assurance career at GSK.

Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Monitor production activities to confirm compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and GSK quality standards.
  • Review batch documentation for completeness, accuracy and adherence to approved procedures.
  • Sample and release intermediate, bulk and finished materials following approved plans.
  • Support investigations for deviations, out-of-specification results and customer complaints, including gathering facts and contributing to root cause analysis.
  • Participate in internal audits and routine self-inspection activities and track corrective actions to closure.
  • Coach operators and production teams to embed a quality mindset and improve operational practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or a related science degree; or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a regulated manufacturing or quality environment
  • Practical knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Strong documentation skills with attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and a good command of English.
  • Willingness to work on-site and participate in shift-based operations as required.

  • 2 or more years’ experience in operational quality, production quality or quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with batch record review, sampling plans and in-process control testing.- Experience with internal audits, deviation management and CAPA systems.
  • Understanding of validation concepts (IQ/OQ/PQ) and basic equipment qualification.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel and familiarity with electronic quality systems.
  • Experience coaching or training production teams to improve compliance and performance.

Working pattern

This position is on-site at our manufacturing site. The role may require shift work and occasional weekend support to align with production schedules.
