About the Role
The Operational Planning Specialist supports daily purchasing operations within the Supply Chain Team. The role involves accurate processing of purchase orders, stock transfer orders, coordination with external vendors and logistics partners. It requires maintaining comprehensive internal documentation throughout the order-to-delivery cycle. The specialist collaborates cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely fulfillment of stocks on assigned WH's. Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and proficiency in relevant systems are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Process and validate domestic, import, intercompany purchase orders/stock transfer orders
Cross-check purchase orders against supplier agreements for accuracy and completeness
Liaise with internal teams (customer service, procurement, logistics, account payable, quality team, etc.) and external parties (suppliers, warehouses, etc.) in order to arrange timely deliveries of the materials/equipment
Track shipments and support issue resolution such as delivery complaints or returns
Manage purchasing records and supporting documents (e.g., invoices, delivery notes, certificates)
Support performance tracking, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery metrics
Assist in preparing reports and maintaining up-to-date supplier files
Follow up the deliveries and keep optimal stocks in warehouses
Troubleshooting of operational issues
