About the Role

Join Abacus Insights and help solve one of healthcare’s toughest challenges—making payer data usable and actionable. As a Business Operations Lead, you’ll play a critical role in transforming Operations into a data‑ and insights‑driven organization. This is a high‑impact, senior role focused on delivery metrics, performance reporting, and knowledge governance across client programs and internal initiatives.

You’ll partner closely with Project Management, Delivery, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, leveraging modern analytics, GenAI, and agentic systems to turn operational data into clear insights and scalable best practices.

Your day to day

  • Design and own dashboards tracking delivery performance, KPIs, risks, resource utilization, and client financials.
  • Translate complex delivery data into actionable insights that drive prioritization, planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain operational and executive reporting using tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, and Jira.
  • Standardize reporting formats, cadences, and executive‑level updates across programs and portfolios.
  • Ensure data accuracy and hygiene across delivery tools and workflows.
  • Advance operational insights through automation and GenAI to reduce manual effort and accelerate decision‑making.
  • Establish and govern a centralized knowledge repository for SOPs, templates, and delivery artifacts.
  • Define and enforce documentation standards across the project lifecycle, including stage gates, handoffs, and closure.

What you bring to the team

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Operations, PMO, or Operational Reporting (healthcare, SaaS, or tech preferred).
  • Strong expertise in analytics and dashboarding tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven ability to convert complex operational data into executive‑level insights.
  • Experience building and governing knowledge management systems and delivery frameworks.
  • Track record of leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives with high accountability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence working at senior levels.
  • Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Work arrangements 

  • Standard hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
  • Location: Pune, Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
  • Shift: 12pm-9pm IST
